Important Live Scan Update

On-site Live Scan services have been suspended until further notice. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Effective March 25th, 2024, those seeking Live Scan services will be directed to a location off-campus nearby by the Live Scan requestor. The UPS Store in the City of Carson is available to process Live Scans. Please click button below for information.

We will provide updates on the reinstatement of Live Scan services as we receive them.

CSUDH Toro Auxiliary Partners Live Scan: Welch Hall 430-E (Fourth floor)

CSUDH Toro Auxiliary Partners (TAP) Live Scan department is open and welcomes you to stop by for your Live Scan needs. We are certified by both the State and the Federal government to offer electronic fingerprinting services to the general public, students, staff, faculty, etc. Our goal at CSUDH TAP is to make the process of taking your applicant fingerprints fast, secure, and convenient. With our advanced fingerprint system, data is not lost or delayed as our certified and trained professionals submit your electronic Live Scan fingerprints immediately and are routed to the State and Federal government within minutes.

How to prepare for your Live Scan appointment:

  • You will need a completed Request for Live Scan Form. Live Scan service providers in California cannot submit your Live Scan transaction without this form; we highly recommend that you contact your employer or requesting agency to get a copy of this form to ensure that the correct agency receives your results.  Click here for an example of the form

Parking Details - Note: We are close to Parking Lot #3. 

 

You may park free for 30 minutes in the visitor parking, directly off Victoria Street, in front of Welch Hall and adjacent to the University Police Station. If you need to stay longer, you may also purchase a parking pass for $10. We recommend downloading a map of the CSUDH Campus, by clicking here.​
